Abstract

Transparent OLED display technology has recently garnered attention for its potential application in home appliances, with active research aiming to deliver innovative designs and intuitive user experiences. In particular, kitchen appliances are expected to benefit from the ability to provide both internal visibility and information display simultaneously. This paper analyzes trends in transparent display technology and related patents, exploring market potential and user demands when applied to microwave ovens, to identify new product development directions. Through this, it offers strategic insights for securing competitiveness in the premium home appliance market and advancing smart kitchen environments.
